What 100 Castles Tracker collects, and how it's handled.
Which castles you've marked as visited is stored only in your browser, on this device. It is never sent anywhere, including to us.
Clearing your browser's site data or switching devices will lose this record unless you use "Export progress" to save a file, which you can load again with "Load data" on another device.
Pressing "Nearest to me" requests your current location through the browser, once. It's used only to sort the list and center the map. Your location is never stored or transmitted anywhere, and disappears when you close the tab.
If you don't use this feature, no location is ever requested. Declining the permission prompt does not affect any other feature.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people use the app. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't collect personally identifying information. It reports aggregate statistics like pages viewed, referrers, and rough region.
To display the app, your browser connects to these external services. As with any web request, your IP address is visible to them.
Map tiles are cached after first viewing, so later visits use less data and the app can work offline.
We don't collect anything we could share. Your visit records and location stay on your device, so we can't see them and can't pass them to anyone else.
If this policy changes, this page will be updated.
